Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Turkish Republic to the Republic of Azerbaijan Alper Coskun has received President and Editor-in-Chief of Caspian Energy International Media Group Natalya Aliyeva, Senior Manager of Caspian Energy Emil Mammadov and Correspondent of Caspian Energy News Sabina Mamedova.
Discussed at the meeting were possibilities of expansion of cooperation within the framework of the Caspian European Club and Caspian Energy International Media Group as well as a release of the special issue dedicated to the development of Turkey’s economy.
Ambassador Alper Coskun highly assessed the activity of the Caspian European Club and Caspian Energy International Media Group. He noted that the economic and energy sections of the Caspian Energy journal arouse particular interest in Turkey. The Ambassador looks through articles and materials published at www.caspianenergy.net and Caspian energy journal spread in 50 countries of the world.
He expressed interest in publication of articles and interviews about the Turkish economy on pages of Caspian Energy.
At the end of the meeting Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Turkish Republic to the Republic of Azerbaijan Alper Coskun gave an exclusive interview to Caspian Energy.
Speaking about prospects of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, Ambassador Alper Coskun emphasized in the interview that “There is a long standing cooperation established between our countries and Azerbaijan is the most important and reliable partner of Turkey”.
“The Turkish-Azerbaijani relationship is very special and is not based just on traditional formal relations between the two countries. We don’t see Azerbaijan only as a source of energy or a market where we can export. We see Azerbaijan as a partner and a brotherly nation for us, with whom we believe that we have a common future, and as we have always said the common past”, the Ambassador emphasized.
Alper Coskun also touched the energy cooperation, noting the importance of projects being implemented within the framework of the Southern Gas Corridor.
