Today Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Republic Artur Rasizade met head of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation Andrey Beljaninov to discuss cooperation in the customs field.
During the meeting they spoke about the close neighbourly relations with Azerbaijan. According to Andrey Beljaninov, Azerbaijan is one of the most dynamically developing countries in the former Soviet Union. He also praised Azerbaijan`s modern customs system and highly technical equipment.
The sides discussed issues of opportunities for effective cooperation in the future, training of personnel, data exchange and formation of statistics. They also exchanged views on the mutually beneficial relations between Azerbaijani and Russian customs borders, particularly the importance of cooperation in the field of export of domestic and industrial goods and food and agricultural products.
Chairman of Azerbaijan`s State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev was also present at the event.
