“The year 2014 has been extremely fruitful and significant in terms of relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia”, Georgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Teymuraz Sharashenidze said today in a press conference dedicated to the outcomes of the works done during the Georgian Dream-led coalition government.
A political dialogue between the two countries continues, more than 50 mutual visits took place in 2014.'' added the diplomat.
“The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia in the last nine months made $870 mln. This figure will exceed $1 bln by the end of the year”, he stressed.
The ambassador also noted that the Georgian section of the Baku-Tblisi-Kars railway is ready for a test movement of the train.
