President of Iran Hassan Rouhani has praised the results of his first official visit to Azerbaijan, SIA reports with reference to AzerTac.
“Agreements that we reached during the visit will be to advantage of both countries,” said Mr. Rouhani.
He said they met four times with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev this year. “These meetings contributed to the development of mutually beneficial relations between Iran and Azerbaijan.”
Mr. Rouhani said the talks in Baku were held in a “constructive and friendly” manner.
“Iran and Azerbaijan reached agreements on the issues of energy, transportation, trade, customs, environment, and regional security.”
He also hailed the conditions for the activities of entrepreneurs and investment making.
