The IV Baku International Humanitarian Forum has today started. The Forum is attended by the delegations of scientists and government officials from 60 countries, SIA reports.
The Baku International Humanitarian Forum is an annual event of famous representatives of political scientific and cultural elite of the world community including famous statesmen, Nobel Prize’s winners in the various fields of science and leaders of influential international organizations whose aim is holding dialogues, discussions and exchange of views on wide range of global issues in the interest of all humanity.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will address the Forum. After that, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s greetings for the participants of the Forum will be read. Administrator of the UN Development Program Helen Clark and ISESCO Director General Abdulaziz Othman Altwaijri will make speeches.
Roundtable meetings will be organized, after these. Former President of Estonia Arnold Rüütel, former Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, former President of Latvia Valdis Zatlers, Lithuanian President Vytautas Landsbergis and former Prime Minister of Italy Enrico Letta will make speeches at the roundtable meetings.
