Deputy Defense Minister of Azerbaijan, Air Force commander, Lieutenant-General Ramiz Tahirov and the head of department on work with the staff of the Turkish Air Force, Brigadier General Emin Ayik, who is on visit in Baku, met with the personnel of the Air Forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey participating in trainings, the Defense Ministry’s press service said.
As stated, preliminary analysis of practical tasks during joint operations on combat training aircraft, performing various maneuvers with simulated conditioned air battles and destruction of ground targets were conducted at a meeting with the flight and technical staff.
Guests were shown the simulators used in training pilots. Then, at the airport, which hosted the joint exercise, guests were given a summary of the course of the exercise, as well as discussed the trainer job the next stage.
During the meeting, it was noted that the regular joint exercises of Air Forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey are scheduled for March 2015 in Turkey.
The meeting was also attended by the Military Attaché of Turkish Armed Forces in Baku, Brigadier General Hasan Nevzat Tashdeler.
