Bella Mia the dog lives a life most humans would envy – and is set to inherit a home and a share of a trust fund worth a reported £1m when its owner dies.
Accountant Rose Ann Bolsany feeds the dog fillet steak, and has bought it more than 1,000 designer outfits, worth up to £600 each.
The dog also wears diamond and pearl jewellery.
Bolsany is determined that the three-year-old Maltese will continue to live in luxury – even if it means her own family miss out on some of their inheritance.
Bella Mia now shares in Bolsany’s sons’ trust fund, and will inherit one of her homes.
Ross Ann says, ‘My children are grown and successful. They don’t need my money. They know how happy she has made my husband and I.
‘We decided that we had given her such a lavish life that we wanted to make sure she’s still have what she was accustomed to when I was gone.
Rose Ann said: ‘Everyday Bella Mia will go to the closet and we’ll pick out what she will be wearing that day; it may be a pair of trousers or it may be a little jump suit.
‘She has many ball gowns, coats, sweaters, pajamas, onesies, and she has skirts and she has dresses and she has jeans and blankets. And hats and hats and more hats and shoes – she has a pair of Uggs.
Rose Ann said: ‘I discussed having Bella Mia included in the trust fund with my sons and they totally understood.
‘I explained to them that I know they love Bella Mia very much but I wanted to make sure that if anything happens to us she was taken care in the way that she’s used to.
‘My sons at that point were not part of that house because it’s a recent purchase. It was Bella Mia’s third birthday and my husband and I wanted to leave her that house for her birthday.’
