Ayan Qureshi, a five-year-old British Boy of Pakistani origin, became the youngest qualified computer specialist in the world after he had passed Microsoft Certified Professional exam, The Daily Express reports.
Birmingham City University observers were quite astonished when a young boy came to sit an exam for students seeking to become qualified computer specialists. However, despite the professors’ doubts Qureshi made short work of the challenge.
"Ayan has plans to take an advanced test in the future but he has to concentrate on school for now,” his father Asim Qyreshi told the reporters.
According to him the British whiz kid was first introduced to computers at the age of three. “I started explaining to him about hardware and software and installing computer laboratory for him,” said the 43-year-old father. Qureshi also noted that the boy is of astonishing memory. Ayan is yet to decide on a career path but hopes for a job involving his favourite subjects of maths and computing. It’s worth mentioning that the previous record was set up by six-year-old Mehroz Yawar from Pakistan.
Ayan Qureshi was born in Lahore, Pakistan, but his family moved to London in 2009. Now the young IT professional lives in Coventry.
