Eight PKK terrorists were killed in fighting with security forces in southeast Turkey, the military said Wednesday, SIA reports citing the AA.
In a statement on its website, the Turkish General Staff said clashes in Sirnak province resulted in “eight separatist terror organization members” being killed in Cizre, close to the Syrian border.
Another seven terrorists surrendered in nearby Silopi district, the military added. In Suruc, Sanliurfa province, a further two PKK terrorists handed themselves over to security forces.
