An explosion has hit a chemical plant in south-east Ukraine’s Donetsk overnight, SIA informs with reference to TASS.
"The plant has been in maintenance since the Soviet times. It is unique," Basurin was quoted by Rossiya 24 TV channel as saying. He confirmed that ammunition was stored at the plant.
"We do not have any information yet on whether it was Tochka-U or targeted shelling [that hit the chemical plant]. The investigation is underway, and we will report on the results as soon as they are ready," Basurin said.
