On September 9, 2015 the Caspian European Club will hold a business forum under the chairmanship of Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan Abulfaz Garayev.
“Prospects of development of tourism and impact of the global crisis on tourism of Azerbaijan will be considered within the framework of the business forum. Besides, discussed will be prospects of expansion of cooperation of the government agencies within the business representatives within the framework of the Caspian European Club. Special emphasis laid by Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the Caspian European Club, on issues of development of the tourist sector makes this topic more relevant. We are grateful to the management of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for stable support and active dialogue with member companies of the Caspian European Club and hope that executives of companies will, within the framework of the Forum, use the opportunity to obtain answers to issues that are of interest to them, discuss and find solution for problems concerning the tourism development in Azerbaijan as well as make suggestions on establishment of an active dialogue between business and the state”, Chief Executive Officer Telman Aliyev stated.
Representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Industry of AR, Ministry of Transport of AR, Ministry of Taxes, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of AR, State Customs Committee of AR, State Migration Service of AR, Department of the seafront park under the Cabinet of ministers, Department of the State Historical-Architectural Reserve “Icheri Shekher” under the Cabinet of Ministers, Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), Azerbaijan railways (CJSC), Baku metro CJSC, heads of big hotels, air companies, international financial organizations as well as representatives of embassies will attend this business forum.
The member companies of ASA (Azerbaijan), ASK (Azerbaijan), ATIB (Azerbaijan), TUSIAB (Azerbaijan), GEP-AFTP (France), KazEnergy (Kazakhstan) and Atameken (Kazakhstan) will attend this event along with member-companies of the Caspian European Club. The qualifying chess tournament will be held on the same day between the representatives of the member companies of the Caspian European Club. The semi-finals and finals of this tournament will be held during the 5th International Caspian Energy Forum due in Baku in March of 2016.
