Azerbaijan-Russia Business Forum was held today in Baku as part of the visit of President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov to Azerbaijan. The forum was organized by the Ministry of Economy and Industry.
Speaking about economy of Azerbaijan, Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev said there are good opportunities to further expand cooperation between the two countries in such fields as petroleum engineering, petrochemistry, pharmaceutics, information and communication technologies (ICTs), as well as tourism.
Addressing the forum, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Ravil Zaripov expressed interest in further development of relations between the two countries, noted great potential of economic development of Azerbaijan for deepening of the cooperation.
Along with officials from Azerbaijan and Tatarstan, the event was attended by about 50 businessmen operating in various areas of industry.
